Hi! My name is Mary and I love meeting new people! Me and my husband are in love with cyclades but especially Serifos because it was our wedding destination. We love architecture and are passionate about travelling and hosting people. Our residency - Serifos 1890 cliff house - combines all the love, care and respect to the local atmoshpere that a traveller can find in Chora of Serifos, one of the most beautiful Chora of all cyclades. Our love for the Greek Cycladic style is vividly combined with our love for comfort and luxury. You are very much wellcomed to experience living in a traditional and luxury residence.

Serifos 1890- an artistic cliff house in Chora , Serifos. Entering the house , on your left you find the living room which serves also as dinning room, due to the fact that there is a large opening where you can admire the mountain Oros in panoramic view and the view of Kato Chora with the beautifull blue ceiling church as long as the Sifnos island and the sea side view. There is also a loft in the main area with two single beds (80*200) but they can easily converted to one big double bed sized (160*200). At the end of the main entrance there is our master bedroom, a typical Cycladic bedroom with a double bed. (150*200) and a wooden handcrafted handle wardrobe area. Our kitchen is fully equipped with a marbled renovated sink, retro style fridge, washine machine, nespresso machine, toaster and a water boiler. The bathroom area has a stone sink which is mainly carved in the stone wall and it has a toilet and a shower area. Over the bathroom area ,there is a second loft which serves mainly as a storage room. The house has another hidden space, a cellar. It used to serve as a safety space , back to the years where pirates’ invasions were a threat for the locals.

Our house is one of the oldest castle houses located at the heart of Chora. Built approximately around 1800, it is located 20 steps away from Agios Athanasios church, the Metropolis church of Chora, in Serifos. You can reach our house easily. Arriving at Chora there is the parking area and the bus stop terminal. Walking further for 20 steps you approach the area where stairs start in order to reach Ano Chora of Serifos. You can walk towards Aghios Athanasios which includes a 3-4 minutes walk (approximately 60 steps) and there you are!!! It was fully renovated in 2019, taking into great consideration and respect all of the Greek traditional elements that were present in our residency. The residency is approximately 60m2 in one level. The mosaic that you will see in the entrance of our house is handcrafted by Ilias Bountaniotis , a well known Greek sculpture artist who is also the proprietor of the house. Our neighborhood is very vivid during the day but quite at the same time because there are no cars or moto in the alleys...
