Travelling exploring and experiencing new worlds is one of my main Interests. I have travelled to India, Kambodgia, New York, Aegypt, Asia, Latin America etc. During one of these life changing journeys emerged the idea Spiti Kyparissi 16 years ago, as a holiday resort for my mother, Doris to manage. I immediately ended my trip and started working on the Studios bringing in my special love for design with exposed concrete and combining it with natural materials like stone, metal and wood all worked by hand. Doris has been running the place until now in her very special way full of love and hospitality. Thus the time has come for her to retire and here I return to continue the tradition that started with so much love and effort 16 years ago. Coming back from Germany with my wife and son we intent to live our dream in nature, enjoying the sea snorkorkling and diving, exploring the reefs, experiencing the mountain and its gestation, being creative with music and art, taking care of our animals and garden. Above all we intent to enrich Spiti Kyparissi in any possible aspekt in order to offer the ultimate possibility of relaxation and enjoyment with human values.

Spiti Kyparissi offers the bases for essential holidays in a calm environment with exclusive aesthetic. Situated at the slope over Tyros, in the traditional settlement Sapounakeika in the heart of Arkadia, the accommodation offers the capacity of 5 Studios. Βuilt in 2001 next to the old restored greek country house where the welcoming area is hosted, it is a unique for the area architectural building combining traditional and contemporary architecture. The result is harmonic integrated into the natural environment. Orientated towards the sea offering an outstanding view. With their simple structure and practical inventions, they combine in one single comfortable space all the necessary functions and access to the outdoor premises. The ground, in a space of 3500m², is surrounded from cypress trees, “Kyparissi” in Greek and from which “Spiti Kyparissi” is named after. The garden is full of herbs, flowers, lemon and orange as well as Olive trees, adds to the overall ambient pleasing all the sense. The access, through the narrow village road, is possible with a normal car. Larger cars and vans can park at the village parking place which is 200m away.

Can combine with Lenidio one of Europe's top climbing spots (18klms away) Favourite things to do: Walking around the traditional village Sapounakeika, old houses, panorama views, neighbourhood animals donkeys, goats, chickens. “To Konatsi” Taverna (300m), simply delicious. Walking ways starting on spot average difficulty from 4klm. Hiking, by your own or with experienced guide. Walking down to the beach swimming, eating home made food, coffee at the beach bars & shopping (20mins walk). Exotic beach bar at Tigani beach (4mins drive) with a reef & a cave ideal for snorkellers. Possibility to rent pedal boats. Quiet suitable for children & nice to snorkel sand beach Zervos (7klm). Zaritsi beach bar 4klms, Livadi beach bar 7klms. Cultural sightseeing, the old small town Leonidio, combine with the Monastery Elónis (15th century) built onto a cliff. Diving school, early booking for a course. Nafplio, Cocktail at Hotel Nafplio, exclusive with a beautiful view, combine it together with the archeological site of Mykene or Epidaurus.
