Through a journey that started in 2001, Oreo Travel was founded by Stratos Beretis, an experienced member of the Greek Tourism Industry, a Graduate of the Department of Economics of the University of Crete and a Master Degree Holder in Tourism Business Management. Having passed through several management positions, he was won over by the occupation with tailor made tourism services and especially in inbound tourism in villas, independent properties, country houses and small holiday rental units. Oreo Travel started as a representative of global tour operators and continues to this day with an ever-growing network of partners and properties in Crete, Peloponnese and Athens, in line with the new promotional and managing methods. Our goal at Oreo Travel is to promote the properties we partner with in the best way possible, by solely operating as a booking agent on behalf of our partner-property owners, whom we advise and guide in providing high standards of hospitality for their guests, in accordance with the regulations and the laws that govern the accommodation industry. Furthermore, we are constantly available for our guests to answer questions, solve potential problems that may arise while booking or staying in and to recommend services that may be needed to facilitate their stay and maximize their travel experience (car rental, transportation, tours, excursions and concierge services). Spili is built almost in the center of the county on the west side of Cedar Mountain, which is the southwestern extension of Psiloritis, at an altitude of 430 m, which feeds the springs of the village with running waters. In the village square are tall plane trees and a fountain with 25 lion's head fountains, from the mouths of which flows fresh water. It has a large variety of shops, cafes and restaurants. Its name comes from the many cavernous hollows and small caves located in Voriza mountain where there are traces of ancient paths. The village church which is the Duomo cathedral is dedicated to the Apostle Paul. In the village, there are several mansions and old churches that are decorated with frescoes.
