'Villa Stratos' was the first Villa which was built on a slope of a hill, just 1 km before the historical village of 'Kaloniktis', in the prefecture of Rethymnon in Crete. 'Villa Stratos' was named because of the boss of the family named Stratos. Then, Stratos built two more villas, the 'Villa Fouli' and the 'Villa Maria'. These names are given because of Stratos' and Eva's two daughters, named Fouli and Maria. Eva, Stratos, Fouli and Maria always do their best, so everything is perfect during our guests' stay in Stratos Villas ( Villa Stratos, Villa Fouli and Villa Maria )! We are looking forward to show to you our Cretan hospitality and guarantee for memorable holidays, all year round! Contact us for more details!
Hi, I am Eva and I am famous for cooking the TRADITIONAL CRETAN COOKING with secrets learnt by my grandmothers and mother! I am Stratos and I am famous for my own CRETAN WINE, TSIKOUDIA - RAKI, OLIVE OIL and VEGETABLES grown in my huge gardens! I am Fouli ( Eva's and Stratos' daughter ) and I am famous for my MUSIC, playing GUITAR and singing GREEK and INTERNATIONAL SONGS! LOCATION : Stratos Villas overlook the opposite hills, which resemble an endless natural rock garden. Trees, bushes and herbs grow among the rocky scenery. The small river, just 100m away from the villas, is inhabited by frogs, turtles and crabs. This peaceful scenery makes our villas the PERFECT place to relax and revive your mind, body and soul. Stratos Villas are located in the middlle of CRETE! Stratos Villas are located : 1 hour and 30 minutes drive by car from HERAKLION AIRPORT 1 hour and 15 minutes drive by car from CHANIA AIRPORT 14 km from the town of Rethymno ---> about 10-15 minutes drive by car! 10 km from the closest beach ( North coast ) ---> about 10-15 minutes drive by car! 23 km from the South coast ---> about 40 minutes drive by car! Our location is ideal for exploring the near area, within a short drive by car! :-)
