Some information about Studio Fetsi, Kioni village, and Ithaca island: "Studio Fetsi” is a traditional house for accommodation located at the groundfloor of a house which had been built in the year 1863. There is also another similar space at the first floor. The studio is traditional with a very nice view to the port of Kioni and to the rest of the village. It is fully equipped with one double bed, two single beds placed in the living room, one bathroom in which one of the walls is the hill’s natural rock, a fully equipped kitchen (with an oven, a coffee machine, a boiler, a sandwich maker) and there is also a TV, air condition, and a vendillator on the ceiling. Above the studio there are situated two yards with a very old (200 years old !) olive tree, where, under the shadow of it, you can take your breakfast or dinner,enjoying the beautiful view to the sea and the Kioni bay.

The family of my mother and her ancestors used to live there and afterwards it was me and my family who used to live there many decades ago, and then after having become architects, my husband and i, we decided to transform firstly the ground floor and then the first floor to a traditional space for accommodation. So we have been running this beautiful place for many years and we are always very happy to meet and accommodate people from around the world in our house every summer.

Near the house there is a small mini market. Every day early in the morning,there comes a car with bread, cheese and spinach pies, croissants, cookies etc, and in the afternoon, there comes a car with fresh fruit and vegetables. This is an interesting every day event happening in front of the house, as you may meet the locals at that moment and have a little talk with them if you wish ! There are six small nice beaches, where there are no houses but only trees with shadow. You can go on foot to the first two of these beaches in 10 minutes, and by car in 4 minutes. To the other beaches you can go by car. Near the studio, after a 10 minute walk through a village road and a path, there is an old windmill. Take the village road right at the left of the big old house with the green windows (which is at the left of our studio and the other big house with the red windows and doors).The place where the windmill is, happens to be my most beloved area, I feel there very nice, the place has a great sense of energy ! Also, when you go to the port,you can go at the right of the cafe "Spavento" to the road that goes to "Lodza", along the coast line. It's a nice walk during the evening.
