On the far western side of the Bay of Laganas lies the village and lagoon of Keri. As is common on Greek Islands, the village itself is set back in the hills, and features narrow streets and traditional houses around the local “kafeneion”. A selection of restaurants and small shops run along the waterfront, and a stretch of pebble beach, backed by trees with pristine sea and sand underfoot, awaits. From here you can visit the island of Marathonisi (a tiny rocky outcrop), take a boat to Turtle beach, visit the caves or enjoy one of the most spectacular sunsets from the site of the Lighthouse.
