The Teacher’s House is a 1850s mansion restored with a modern touch. It is located in the heart of Spartochori village in Meganissi Island. A beautiful, traditional village that will charm you at first glance. It is built at the edge of a spectacular rock just opposite the legendary island of Onassis, Scorpio. The guesthouse was the home of the village teacher. It was built almost two centuries ago, in the late 19th century and for many years was the reference point of the village. Now it is restored into a guesthouse that combines luxury with tradition. It offers a swimming pool - jacuzzi, modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, atmospheric exteriors, a terrace with a pergola, restored furniture. You can arrive to Meganissi via car ferry or water taxi from Lefkas - Nidri after a flight to Preveza/Aktion Airport on mainland Greece. If your trip starts from Athens, Lefkas can be reached by bus or car since the island is connected to the mainland with a small bridge. Meganissi is well served by daily ferry services. The ferry takes vehicles of any size and the journey time is nearer 40 minutes. Water taxi needs to be booked in advance.
