The Habitus Residence Located in the Kanoni area of Corfu Town, this house is a newly constructed modern residence. This is a contemporary residence in Kanoni in Corfu Town, designed around the notion of dwelling as an everyday ritual. It is located just a few minutes from “mon repos” garden, Pontikonisi and Corfu Town. Designed around simplicity, the house combines clean architectural lines, carefully selected natural materials, and high-quality furnishings to create a calm and refined living environment. The project establishes a seamless relationship between interior spaces and the surrounding garden. Carefully orchestrated natural light, balanced proportions, and a restrained material palette create an atmosphere of serenity, continuity, and timeless simplicity. The residence comprises 110 sqm of living space arranged over two levels, complemented by an additional 50 sqm basement level. The ground floor accommodates an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area that extends seamlessly towards the garden through large sliding openings. The kitchen is furnished by Molteni&C, while the interior incorporates carefully selected design pieces and lighting from internationally acclaimed brands including Knoll, Muuto, Ferm Living, Carl Hansen & Søn, HAY, among others. The house features two primary bedrooms. The master suite, located on the upper floor, includes a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a private terrace overlooking the garden. A second bedroom on the ground floor is arranged with a single bed but can easily accommodate a queen-size bed and benefits from its own private bathroom. The basement level functions as an independent space within the living environment. It includes a flexible living space area, an additional bathroom, a secondary lounge space, and a workspace. The basement also houses the building’s mechanical room and a laundry room.

The Habitus Project is personally curated by Nikos and Angeliki who is also an architecti . Conceived as a home rather than a holiday rental, it reflects a thoughtful approach to space, materials, and everyday living, offering guests an authentic sense of place.
