The Pigeon House This has to be one of the most unique properties on the island! Originally built by a local resident to keep his pigeons, the cottage has been carefully renovated and has kept some of the original features, and still has the original nesting holes in the wall!

Neighborhood info

Kythira is a fairly unknown Greek island situated just off the southernmost tip of the Peloponnese and to the east of Crete. The town of Potamos is in the northern part of Kythira and is one of the main shopping centres on the island. Potamos has all the necessities such as a supermarket, a post office, a bank, a pharmacy, a butchers and a bakery; there are also many cafe's, restaurants and tavernas in and around the town. Most importantly however, there is a local produce market every Sunday from June to September, when the town comes alive with both locals and visitors sampling the local produce and catching up over a coffee.
