Traditional Farmers Secret Cave#1 Old style fully and recently renovated traditional cave, in a well- hidden peaceful canyon in Emporio village of Santorini. Experience living in a 5* Cave, leading an agricultural life, hearing nature's noises, being 10' min away from the beach! The Cave was originally a winery which was renovated in 2004 by the owner and architect Babis Chiotis. Turned it into a beautiful relaxing place with a special 'aura', ideal for those who seek peace of mind and privacy, fully equipped with modern equipment and facilities. A “home atmosphere", enhanced by the smell of fresh vegetables and seasonable products from the local community. Experience what is like living in a traditional winery restored to perfection using traditional and ecological materials to accommodate the needs of a modern vacation house. An atmospheric cave, where the walls have been refurbished keeping the ideal temperature both in summer and in winter time. The house keeps a very comfortable temperature all year round. It has recently been restored with respect to the unique local architecture and can comfortably accommodate up to 3 people; there is a double bed and a single one.

Emporios village is situated on the south center of the island of Santorini, about 12 Km from Thira. A traditional village, untouched by the time and tourism, offering to every visitor the opportunity to relish the authentic lifestyle of Santorini. There are local farmers and free-range farming around the Villa that you can visit for supply or even collect your own products. The impressive village of Emporio with its 15-century A.D. Medieval fortified caste (Castelli) is the most well preserved settlement of Santorini. The castle, situated in the center, surrounded by small traditional houses, vineyards and tomato plants, overviews the seaside. Emporio's narrow roads forbid the use of a normal car which adds to the mystical quietness of the place, making it an ideal one for relaxation. The hill behind the castle can offer exciting experiences to those who love trekking and exploring. The bus station connecting Emporio with the rest of Santorini is less that 5 min away on foot as well as the pharmacy, super market, a doctor and a public (free) playground for children. Free public parking space is available also within 2 min. Distance from Fira:15klms, Port:9klms, Airport:12klms
