If you want to combine the yogic, peaceful, serene and meditative way of living in an ashram with everything that goes on in the heart of the historical beautiful city of Ioannina, then this is the right place for you! This urban yoga ashram experience will give you the right equilibrium of retreating into it's atmospheric shala's vibes, while living right in the vibrant beating heart of Ioannina's cultural and historical center. While staying in the ''Urban Yoga House'' you will get the opportunity to use the shala at any time for your own yoga practice, enjoy the common area where you will always find warm tea and a place to relax and enjoy some time alone, join any experience of your preference, from meditation or vipassana (silent time) to yoga classes , massage sessions and rejuvenating herbal baths to traditional kirtan music concerts and special events or wonder around and discover the city or the beautiful nature surrounding it by bike or on foot.

The Urban Yoga House is located close to the historical city and within the shopping center area, just 5 minutes away from the castle and Pamvotida Lake, the old city's clock, museums, cultural centers and 2 minutes walking distance from all the beautiful old - style cafes in Kalari street. Within a 10 minutes walk you can easily escape at Frontzos Hill and imposing forest, an excellent spot for trail running, walking, jogging or hug a tree and get in tune with nature :-) Bus and taxi stops are located just 1 min away from our location while getting around in Ioannina is very easy and doable on foot or by bicycle as well. Taxi service is very fast and not that expensive and can regularly take you around the city or Perama village located 3km outside the city, for visiting one of the oldest caves on Earth dating 1.500.000 years... Zagori mountains and Vikos Gorge are breathtaking destinations to take your adventure further including outdoor activities such as trekking, hiking, mountain climbing, rafting, mountain biking and horse riding.
