We have tried to offer the very best of Greek home warmth at Vilana Studios. The studios are tastefully set up and decorated. The exterior areas are casual country with vegetable garden and fruit orchard at your disposal.
Dear guests, Kythera or Utopia? This is what I feel for Kythera. Vilana Studios is a family run holiday facility. We will try to share our love for our island, share hidden treasures, create memories and make your stay with us a life experience. Each season has something different to offer. Spring with it's fresh clear weather and bright colours. Summer warming the clear seas, autumn giving relief from the heat but offering long days for exploring and winter near the earth, living like the locals, harvesting olives. Yes we are here to guide our guests to experience Kythera, our Utopia.
The village of Kalamos is a rural area where the locals are busy with tending to bees, seasonal gardens and producing the Kytherian oil matured cheeses. Close by are pristine beaches, caves, churches and magical pathways through evergreen vegetation and with magnificent views of the countryside and sea. OLIVE HARVEST November is the beginning of the olive harvest and what a great way to introduce you to Greek island hospitality. A one week experience, (commencement Monday departure Monday), including the harvest, cooking lesson, exploration historical and cultural, breakfast buffet, traditional sweets and picnic lunches.
