**Aceso Villa has been distinguished with the 2024 Tourism Awards Bronze for Mountain Villa of the Year** Aceso Villa is consisted of two autonomous two-storey structures, covering 260m2 in total and can comfortably accommodate 10 guests in its 5 bedrooms and up to 13 if needed. The Villa is located just outside the picturesque village of Margarites, which is famous for its pottery tradition, in a beautiful natural environment and peaceful atmosphere, with nature views and surrounding mountains. Aceso Villa is a relaxing retreat, furnished in minimal style and providing all the necessary modern amenities for a self catered, restful holiday, as well as a rich outdoor area including two infinity pools, many outdoor seating and lounging options as well as a fully equipped barbecue area. Accommodation cost excludes Climate Resilience Tax. The amount for the accommodation type is set at 2 euros per night from April to October and 0.5 euros per night from November to March, payable upon check-in.

Neighborhood info

The villa is situated outside of the peaceful area of Margarites village. The village of Margarites is south east from Rethymnon town in the centre of the island of Crete and is well known for its pottery and attracts many visitors in the busy season. The tradition of pottery goes back many generations in this village it also has some extraordinary architecture and lovely narrow winding streets is well worth exploring. There are also some Venetian doorways, Byzantine churches and plenty of traditional taverns and cafés to relax in and perhaps to try a Greek coffee. Margarites village also has some essential shops such as mini markets, taverns and a bakery.
