Barbati is a village set in the foothills of the highest Mountain in Corfu “Pantokratoras” (906metres). The area is among the most popular destinations in Corfu for tourists and locals as well, as it combines natural beauty, with modern high standard facilities. A mile long pebble shingle beach with turquoise to deep blue waters is the outstanding asset that Barbati has to offer. A Blue flagged beach with all the facilities including toilets, showers and changing cabins. To the right part of the beach you look across to Corfu town. On a clear day you can spot the old town, the forts and the cruise ships docked in the port. To the left you can see the Albanian coast line where it meets with the Greek mainland. BARBATI is approx. 20km (12,4 miles) from Corfu Town and 7 km(4,3 miles) from the Marina of Gouvia therefore you won’t need long-time driving to visit the magnificent old Corfu town and many other places of interest.
