Villa Ilida is situated near the village of Korakochori in western Peloponnese. The villa was named after the ancient city of Ilida , the city in charge of the organization of the ancient Olympics. The greatest advantage of the villa is its proximity to the sea. There is a public bay just in front of the villa. The bay is accessible via a footpath that is only 1 minute away from the villa . The bay has a deck with sunbeds and umbrellas and a sealadder which can be used by both adults and children. The villa doesn't look like a typical holiday property but Anna the owner , an artist herself) has paid attention to every detail with antique furniture and her own paintings so as to create a more homely atmosphere.
The villa is set in Western Peloponnese in an area which has been officially recognized as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Apart from the natural landscape and beautiful garden we are sure you will enjoy excursions to ancient Olympia ( 30 min by car), the fishingvillage of Katakolo with its many shops and taverns ( 5 min by car) , winery Mercouri ( within walkingdistance ) the mountainvillages of Arcadia ( Stemnitsa, DImitsana) (2 hours by car) and a daytrip to the Island of Zakynthos .
