Thoughtfully restored interiors blend traditional Skiathian architecture with vintage furnishings, local craftsmanship, and contemporary comforts while preserving the character of the historic home. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, balconies, terraces, gardens, courtyards, and outdoor gathering spaces. The property is designed to encourage both connection and privacy, with numerous places to relax, dine, read, or enjoy the island atmosphere. Guests do not have access to host storage areas, private service spaces, or kitchen refrigeration facilities reserved for property operations. Other things to note LAGO is best suited for travelers who appreciate authentic hospitality, historic homes, art, gardens, and meaningful cultural experiences. As a traditional island residence, some architectural features reflect the age and character of the property and may differ from those found in modern hotels or newly built villas. The property includes stairs, uneven stone surfaces, and outdoor pathways. Groups of friends, retreat groups, creative travelers, and families are all welcome.

Vasili is a full time Skiathos resident originally from the USA who oversaw the purchase, development and now commercial use of the property. When he's not pouring his soul into making LAGO Skiathos an international hub for creativity and beauty you can find him cooking, hiking and spearfishing - any of which he would be happy to share with guests. The neighborhood is called Amoudia - which means "beach", because of our proximity to the beach! We are located atop an aquifer which explains our abundance of trees and other greenery. Almost all of our direct neighbors are full time residents of Skiathos and are wonderful people. We are conveniently located across the street from the primary grocery store and are a 5 minute walk to the airport and 15 minute walk to Papadiamanti street. Each of which are under 2 minutes away by car.
