The scenic island of Trizonia with the natural port forms an excellent destination for a nearby getaway. The city of Nafpaktos (Lepanto) with the well-preserved castle that dominates the hill with the pine forest behind the city, the traditional downtown houses and its paved cobbled streets and Venetian port is the ideal destination for your morning, afternoon and night outings. For hikers there are many walking trails. Finally, the nearby archaeological sites of the area such as ancient Olympia (2 hours distance) and the oracle of Delphi (1 hour distance).
