Located on the east coast of the gorgeously diverse island of Lefkas, and not that far from Preveza international airport which services this stunning island, the delightful seaside village of Nidri is a family friendly village with an excellent variety of amenities and activities, including a fabulous choice of low key watersports to cater for all the family. From Nidri port you can take boat trips to the many outlying islands, from Meganissi (now becoming a holiday destination in its’ own right) to tiny jewels of islets that are uninhabited, and also to a selection of Lefkas’s famous white sandy beaches, many of which can only be reached by boat. Evenings here find you sauntering past pretty little Greek fishing cottages on friendly and colourful bougainvillea clad streets, joining the locals for a game of cards or backgammon, shopping for souvenirs in the many shops or dining out in one of the many charming restaurants.
