Villa Sikia is situated in a secluded valley surrounded by olive groves and pine forest - the private infinity pool for guests' sole use is quite deep and therefore pleasantly cool even at the height of summer -there are three other villas nearby but not overlooked by other properties so allows complete privacy. Good 4G reception usually available . Large gas BBQ , pool shower and terrace seating with plenty of shade and comfortable loungers. Sikia has superb views of Vhliho Bay and leading from the villa are wonderful walking or biking trails to the beach at Dessimi Bay ( 5 mins by car ) Cruiser, Dinghy , Windsurfer, mountain bike or motor boat hire by the day or week . Lovely selection of traditional tavernas within 5 minutes drive . Quality bakery and coffee shop 10 minutes walk. Food shopping 5 mins car. We have been coming to Lefkada for 25 years and love this green unspoilt Island with its great sailing, walking and biking. The whole Island is covered in secluded trails and paths from isolated monasteries in the mountains to deserted beaches, lush valleys and vineyards and small islands offshore to explore and call your own !

Dessimi Bay has three small tavernas , motor boat hire excellent snorkelling in the caves and quiet pebbly beaches. Nydri is a lively beach town but pedestrianised in the evenings with a few nightclubs and stylish beach cocktail bars - boat and bike hire ( all types available ) Vassiliki is a charming harbour and village and a world class sailboarding venue. Lefkas town has kitesurfing, castles to explore and some great eating out and shopping, a good museum and one of the largest marinas outside Athens.
