Villa is located in a traditional small village called “Vergiana” close to Margarites village. This house invites you to enjoy its simplicity and the sense of absolute tranquility. The location of the village is perfect for people who love to stay in a quiet place and spend time with their families or friends! Villa is a comfortable156 sq. m. two-story building made from stone and wood with more than 150 years of history. Then it was renovated by its owners without any architectural interventions, the villa still preserves its elegant traditional touches. Those will decide to decide to spend their holidays here will never forget: - The spacious outdoor area, the beautiful nature around the villa, the 40 sq. m. of swimming pool, and the relaxing atmosphere! - The fact that each bedroom has access to a private bathroom, kichen and dining area creates extra privacy between different types of guests who decided to spend their holiday together! * Please respect the quiet hours from 15:00 to 17:30 and from 23:00 to 07:00 and not make excssive noise during these times. * Please note that the "climate crisis resilience fee" (mandatory government tax) of 5 euros per night is applicableand payable in cash upon arrival, directly to the owner of the villa.

At the northwestern foothills of Mountain Idi and close to the villa, there is the ancient city of Eleftherna. Today, ruins from different historic periods of ancient Eleftherna are rescued. A brand new museum is open along with the archaeological site itself. Cycling or walking excursions by following the E4 path Arkadi – Eleftherna – Margarites. Each destination has its own beauty. Total path length: 12km, duration 4.5 hours, suggested period: all year round, difficulty level: the gradients are not steep, yet the route is quite tiring. Panormo is the closest beach -app. 13 km-, where you can find amazing tavernas with fresh fish, coffee shops, market, souvenir shops and amazing sandy beach with all sorts of summer sea sports and unique sea caves that you can explore. Rethymno city and its venetian Old Town is 25 km away where you can walk around the picturesque alleys, do your shopping in the flea market and the local shops, visit our museums, fortress, venetian port and the lighthouse, have dinner with your loved ones in a variety of amazing restaurants in the old town and enjoy a relaxing drink in one of the endless bars that you will find along the beach.
