The “Village Apartments” built in 1998, are located in the beautiful mountain village of Mirthios, southern Crete, although the family business started out in 1978 in the then small fishing village of Plakias. With more than 30 years of experience in the tourist industry, we have come to understand what our customers require for a pleasant relaxing vacation, and this is exactly what our apartments offer.

“The Village Apartments” in situated between two gorges, the Kourtaliotiko Gorge and the Kotsifou Gorge on the south coast of the Prefecture of Rethymno. In the small traditional village of Myrthios. This small village is located 36 kms south of Rethymnon close to Plakias Bay and the Libyan sea. The beautiful landscape and the atmosphere of the village is ideal for relaxing and enjoying yourself during your vacation. The name of the village comes from the Myrtle tree that once stood in the centre of the village, but unfortunately today it no longer exists. Myrthios was originally built by the sea, but because of the raids by pirates during the Venetian occupation, residents were forced to move higher up the hill.
