Hello! My name is Manolis Sofikitis. I come from Skopelos, where I grew up, and yes(!) I had a pretty amazing childhood growing up here! My family, my parents and siblings, are involved with tourism since I can remember! So even though, I got my degree as an Electrical Engineer from Chania, Crete, I decided to return to Skopelos and do what I always loved to, hosting people from all over the world and helping them get the best out of their vacations. I try to spend as much time as possible in Skopelos countryside, mountains and beaches and to explore the abundant hidden surprises of nature. Either by bicycle, by foot, by boat or even by car there are so many amazing places to discover around the island. I like listening and playing music. I am experimenting with piano, trumpet and mpouzouki (the most popular traditional Greek music instrument), and lucky me (and you!) we have a long tradition of Rembetiko (folklore Greek) music in Skopelos, which you can enjoy in many taverns and in lots of genres.

Vivere Skopelos is a truly unique townhouse, built in 1910 by a wealthy captain. Located in one of the oldest neighborhoods of Skopelos, Vivere sits directly in front of the port, just 50 meters from the sea. This house offers guests the chance to experience the authentic life of locals. Tucked into the stone alleyways of Skopelos, Vivere opens onto a staircase leading up to the first floor, placing you above the town. On this floor, you’ll find a spacious open-concept living area and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a stovetop, oven, and Nespresso machine. A dining table sits beside three large sea-facing windows that fill the room with sunlight and offer beautiful views of the Skopelos port and the surrounding mountains. Here, you’ll also find the first bedroom with two twin beds and a full bathroom. Up a ladder-style staircase, you reach the loft, where the second bedroom features a queen bed, a half en-suite bathroom, and the home’s beautiful wood-beamed ceiling. Additional amenities include air conditioning, WIFI, and a washing machine.
