A renovated old Μansion, known as Vranadika and built in 1860, between Ano Livadi and Kato Livadi. The Mansion used to be the summer house of the high school principal. This was Georgios Kalligeros, also known as Vranas, my grand-grand father! The house has been listed as a building of special architectural and historic interest by the Ministry of Culture in 1985. Furthermore, it has been showcased in various architectural magazines over the years.
Hello world! My name is Evangelos and I work in a shipping company as an engineer, which means i get to travel a lot. The best experience in my life was the one year I spent in Japan working in a shipyard! I really enjoy hiking, excursions in the wild, cycling and whatever includes nature and open air! Hope to get to know you in person Lola, the lovely neighbor just next doors will take care all of your needs during your stay at Vranadika. Furthermore, my telephone is available 24/7.
Vranadika is situated about 600m away from Ano Livadi, which is the second biggest village in Kythera. There are plenty of amenities, like ATM, super market, gas station, cafes, restaurants, bakery, car hire shop, football field etc. Furthermore, the famous beaches of Chalkos, Komponada, Kapsali and Sparagario are about 15 minutes away by car. There is a dedicated parking space for the Mansion. All the residents park their cars here
