Our "Xenonas" - which translates as "guesthouse" -, is a cozy little house built from natural stone in island-typical architecture. It is located on Sifnos, one of the most beautiful Cyclades islands in Greece, in the middle of nature and offers on approx. 65 sqm comfort, quietness and seclusion for four people. Our Xenonas offers a magic view over olives, the Aegean Sea and breathtaking sunrises. With two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds and with its own entrance, but also passage in the house), two bathrooms (each with shower, sink and toilet) and a living/dining room with kitchenette, there is enough space and retreat for four people. There are also three outdoor terraces with comfortable sitting areas that provide shade depending on the time of day and also an outdoor shower. The house (located in the area Firgani, between Kastro and Faros) is only a few minutes by car from the main town Apollonia and the numerous beaches in the east and south of the island, but in a very rural and original area, that can only be accessed by a (short) gravel road. The nearest bus stop is about 10 minutes walk away.

We are a German-Greek couple and met 30 years ago on Sifnos. Maria, born in Greece, has known the island since 1974, Stefan, born in Hamburg and raised in Bavaria, was there for the first time in 1993. Since then we have spent our holidays there, at least once every year, and almost 15 years ago we decided to build a vacation home there. Important to us were the location and the typical Cycladic architecture. We finally fulfilled our dream in 2011 and built the main house and, completely separate from that, a guest house, our Xenonas.
