We love the history of Ismaelli palace and the Old Town Korcula and we love to share it with our guests. In the 15th century, two wealthy families the Ismaellis and the Gabriellis saved Korcula from decay, helping to preserve buildings and churches. They also built their palaces in the Old Town. Throughout the centuries the palaces were rebuilt on several occasions, according to the particular architectural style of the time. Hence influences of Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque style is clearly recognizable. Nowadays, the Gabriellis palace houses the Korcula Town Museum while the Ismaellis palace is divided into several apartments and lofts for local people. Come and enjoy the history in our loft!

Lovely and stylish apartment in the heart of Old town Korčula. It's a duplex that has 100m2 plus walk around balcony. Situated on the top (second) floor in Ismaelis palace from 15th century. Fully equipped with a washing machine, airco in every room, WiFi, all you need for a longer stay. Ideal for a family or couples that want to be in the center. An abundance of restaurants, wine bars, and shops in close proximity. Within easy reach of bus and ferry terminals to airport towns of Split and Dubrovnik. Sea distance cca 60m / 200 ft Even though is in the center of the old town it has peace and quiet.

Wander the 26 narrow cobbled streets of Old town Korcula and indulge in the outstanding architecture, from the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark to Venetian inspired palaces of the Gabriellis and the Ismaellis family. Stop in one of the Old town's wine bar and taste samples of local wines, produced on the island. Make sure to try Grk wine, grown and produced in Lumbarda and Posip wine from Cara and Smokvica. For red wines try Dingac or Postup from nearby Peljesac. Stop for a lunch/coffee in one of the cafe restaurants situated in the shade of pine trees overlooking the eastern side of the channel. Enjoy the sunset on the western side of walls.
