The apartment is situated on top of the house inside a big yard with two other houses belonging to my family. A few generations of my family live here. The apartment itself has been decorated entirely by me which I do as a hobby. My artwork is the main piece on the living room wall. The walls and most of the furniture is white which gives the space a bright peaceful note. I've been renting this apartment since 2015 and improving it constantly so my guests could really enjoy Dubrovnik and consider it their home at least for a few days.
I'm 32 years old and I have a degree in graphic (printmaking). I speak English fluently and I speak Spanish which I've learned while living in Madrid on a student exchange program. I love to create stuff, whether it's graphics or renovation of furniture and designing new spaces.
It's a quiet residential neighborhood, one of the first developed outside the city walls. The most interesting thing in this neighborhood is the water collector which was a part of the 15th century aqueduct built by Onofrio della Cava, an Italian builder hired by the Great council of the Republic. The one that stands now is from the 1911 and is still in use; bringing potable water from Šumet spring which is more than 11 kilometers away. There is also a small private chapel devoted to Saint Anne which opens for mass just once a year (23rd of July).The water collector serves another purpose; it's an excellent viewpoint of the Old city, it's towers and roof tops. You will take some wonderful photo memories with you!
