Apartments Štrbić are located in Ploče, a town known for the nearby Baćina Lakes, while the Neretva River delta lies just 5 km to the east. From the town, a ferry departs to the Pelješac Peninsula (Trpanj) every two hours during the summer season. Only 10 km from Ploče, you can find the beautiful beaches of the Makarska Riviera. In summer, the town becomes lively and full of visitors, especially during the Marathon of Lađa boats, a traditional race along the Neretva River from Metković to Ploče, held every August. A beach with free parking is located just 2 km from the apartments. Distance to popular destinations: Mostar - 69 km Međugorje - 41 km Dubrovnik - 94 km Split - 110 km
By profession, I am a chef and waiter, now retired. I produce my own wine and rakija, and in my free time I enjoy fishing. I also love preparing traditional Dalmatian delicacies. All guests who stay 7 days or longer will be treated to a fish or meat dinner accompanied by homemade wine. They will also receive a welcome aperitif, made at home.
