We wish you a very warm welcome to this magical region. It is a place where you and your children and/or your friends can both relax and explore wonders of the nature surrounding you, during summer and during winter. Lokve, translated as „Puddles“, is a small village in Croatia which offers an infinity of possibilities for fun and relaxation. In our opinion, it is the ideal place to go on vacation. Named „Goransko sunce“ (The Sun of the Mountains), it is a big wooden house with a beautiful garden filled with flowers. The property has three parking spaces hidden by a living fence. In the garden, there is a fairy tale cottage, ideal for children or BBQ. The inside of it consists of two bunk beds, a sofa and a little bench, while in front of it, you can relax on an outdoor net swing. The apartment, called „Bear cub“, is a 60 m2 two-room apartment which has a terrace with a remarkable view of the mountains, since the whole village is surrounded by them. Every room has a king size bed and a wardrobe. The living room has a big sofa, a TV and a furnace. It is connected with the kitchen which has an oven, a fridge, a dishwasher and a dining table. The apartment has one bathroom.

The Youth Lake The Youth Lake is approx. 3 km away from the house; it is a large artificial lake, a jewel of this region with fresh, drinking water as green as the trees surrounding it. During summer, people come to swim in it to refresh themselves, although temperatures never quite seem to reach the unbareable heights as the ones in other parts of Croatia. After going for a swim, a lot of people tend to get hungry, so the good news is that you can always go to grab a bite at the restaurant by the lake, and we most certainly recommend you to try the village's famous frog legs. Golubinjak A fairy tale-like forest with lots of hiking trails on which you can discover some of the most amazing plants, amongst which is the oldest tree in Europe. It is full of small caves and cave-like structures, as well as rocks for free climbing. Lokvarka Cave Discovered in 1912, it is the deepest and one of the most beaufitul caves in Croatia. Frog Museum Since frogs are considered to be the village's trademark, the center of the village contains a frog museum.
