The house is located below the Adriatic Highway in the small, peaceful resort of Podaca on the Makarska Riviera. A nice, clean pebble beach, which is never crowded, is only 50 meters from the house. The house is bright, facing the sea and the sun. There are two comfortably furnished apartments available with free Wi-Fi. In front of the house there is a spacious courtyard (300 m²) shaded by olive trees with a large table and seating. Guests love spending time here relaxing, eating together, and making use of the large brick barbecue while children can play safely in the courtyard. Podaca is a small village and harbour on the Makarska Riviera, close to the neighbouring resorts of Brist and Gradac on Croatia’s Adriatic coast. It’s a simple vacation spot known for its beautiful pebble beaches, welcoming atmosphere and stunning natural surroundings which attract many returning visitors each year. If you’re looking for more entertainment and a livelier scene, there’s plenty to enjoy in the nearby resort town of Gradac. The Makarska Riviera is one of the most attractive parts of the Croatian coast. Everyone will undoubtedly be thrilled by the view from the sea or the beach of the impressive panorama of the mountains of the Biokovo Nature Park, which rises above the Riviera. The entire Makarska Riviera is lined with beautiful pebble beaches and there are plenty of opportunities for sports and cultural activities. Lovers of mountain hikes have a wide range of small and very demanding trips here, e.g. to the highest peak of Biokova Sveti Jure or to the newly opened Skywalk (2020), which offers an unforgettable view of the surrounding resorts and islands. From nearby Drvenik, you can take a number of boat trips along the coast and to the nearby Dalmatian islands. During your stay, we also recommend that you take a trip to the UNESCO destinations of Dubrovnik or Mostar and Međugorje in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
