This villa (stone cottage) is located next to the Bistrica river. River was named based on its crystal clear water. Once upon a time, this object was a mill house. This old mill was ruined more than 70 years ago and was abandoned all up till 2009 when the renovation started. Unique geolocation, with river on it's left side, one of the Bistrica river springs (including small lake) in front of the cottage and the Zala cave on it's right side gives sort of feeling from the fairy tail. In the Zala cave in 1977. it was discovered unique and endemic Ogulin's sponge (Eunapius subterraneus), the one and only underground freshwater sponge in the world. This cave represents also one of the oldest sites of stone age artifacts in Karlovac region. Taking into account unique and endangered eco system, renovation of cottage was carried out with special attention. Every guest can feel it's balance with nature and just a touch of nowadays standard. Therefore, cottage is equipped with entertainment system, phone, free wifi, air condition, electric heating and wooden heated hot tub as one of the main attractions. Access to the cottage includes 700m of maintained gravel road.

Renovation of the cottage was long, but peaceful process. All the work done, was carried out with lot of love by members of Gašparović family and in respect to the nature. Keeping the nature untouched was our main goal. Therefore, our motto is "In balance with nature". Freedom, peace and escape from everyday way of living is something we want to share with our guests.
