Villa Botanica is a private boutique villa in the heart of Croatian Zagorje. It was built and decorated by family and me. Inspired by Charles Darwin, a 19th century leading botanist, Villa Botanica captures the essence of sustainable living. We wanted to create both botanical and authentic feeling with house interior and exterior spaces. Our primary goal is to give guests true feeling of beautiful nature and to show how this region's culture looks like. In our neighbourhood you can find magical castles from the past where you can experience a touch of history, enjoy breathtaking views and explore the nature. Also you can visit museums of Croatian Zagorje, hike in the woods, ride with bikes or have a nice day in thermal baths.
My name is Kristina and I am a social psychologist with a great passion in traveling, wonderful interiors, creativity, diversity and genuine people. I live in a beautiful country Croatia, in the capital city, Zagreb. Occasionally, I live and work in London, where I studied my MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology at the LSE.
