Kuca na Moru used to be an olive farmers cottage in the cozy village of Kornic on island Krk. When we started re-building itwe found old wine and olive oil jars in the basement which is now the "Konoba", the ground floor summer bedroom. Today the interior and facilities are brand new to make it a up-to-date holiday home, while the rugged charme of this property is still visible. The house was rated 4 out of five stars in Croatias Holiday Home rating system.
Kornic is a charming little village in the hills overlooking Punat bay. It is surrounded by olive trees, walking distance to the beach is 15 minutes strolling through the olive trees, or 2 minutes by car. There's a beach with bar and a "Wake Board" facility. You may also explore the rugged natural beaches around. There is a basic mini market in Kornic, but Krk village provides many exquisite food shopping. Early birds may even buy their fish right from the fishing boats when they arrive early in the morning in Krk or Punat.
