The Guesthouse is in a one way, quiet street, although it is in the center of Novalja: 80 meters from City Hall; the street is parallel to the seacoast - 160 meters from the sea. The building has 3 floors and was built last year: ceramic tiles and parquet floors are all new, as well as the aluminum windows and oak doors; the furniture, mattresses, air conditioners, water boilers, refrigerators, sinks, ovens, up to the toasters and teapots, are brand new. There are 5 units of Apartment 1, that have basically the same layout as well as the same amenities, and a similar floor area - the only difference being in the location within the building. All are One-Bedroom Apartments: featuring a private entrance, they consist of one bedroom, one living room, and one bathroom with a bath or a shower; the kitchens are equipped for cooking and storing food. Boasting terraces and balconies with sea views or town skyline panoramas, these apartments were built with sound insulation; each one has a balcony with chairs and ashtrays, whereas during rainy days a common lounge is available for smoking and drinking wine. All rooms have air-conditioning units from Mitsubishi Electric Co.: as Mitsubishi says, "The quietest air conditioners in the world!" Each apartment has its own wired Access Point by TP-LINK, connected to a land-line Router and running at 300 Mbps, with a strong WiFi signal covering the whole apartment and balconies. Android flat-screen TVs connect to the Access Points for a full Internet experience, including Netflix and your national streaming TV channels. Apartment 1 units offer the same two single beds 90x200 cm, bolted together into a king-sized double bed 180x200 cm, as well as an additional 80x190 cm bed in the living room [extended with a supplemental convertible bed for tall guests]. We can separate the single beds before arrival, or when you enter the premises and review the situation, since you can decide to use the convertible bed in the living room as well.

Guesthouse - Hotel California is in the actual center of Novalja: City Hall, the City Museum, and the Cultural Center are within 300 meters; 85% of cafes, cocktail bars, restaurants, fast-food outlets, grocery stores, and bakeries are within 1000 meters. The first beach, 'Sundial Beach,' is 280 meters away, four minutes by foot - for the first dip; the next, 'Beach Riva,' is 800 meters away: an 11 minute walk. How to reach us from Zadar Airport at Zemunik: the airport is rather far [that is why some prefer to come by car - or rent a car at the airport] so that the taxi price is around 110 evros, for one to four people - same price. Even vans up to 8 people charge the same fixed price. Often you can find people at the airport willing to share the ride (and the cost) to Novalja. The cheaper option is to take the bus to Zadar (which is frequent), and another bus from Zadar to Novalja (goes several times a day).
