When we decided, to renovate the ruins of an old mountain-house, we wanted to put emphases on slowly forgotten beauty of mountain architecture and mountain cultural heritage through construction and renovation in old-mountain style. We wish that our dear guests, besides superior quality of accommodation, enrich their stay through familiarizing the natural and cultural wealth of the Region of Gorski Kotar. The very fact that the Sobol household is located in the Magnificent butterflies valley, which accounts over 500 species of butterflies and is situated in the near of Kupa river in Kupa valley in so-called state of Petar Klepec, is reason enough for you to come and enjoy the silence, fresh air, bird singing and to feel what does it mean to be a part of nature. For those who desire an adventure in nature, we offer a variety of programs and trips. All you have to bring along is a good intention to reward yourself with true and genuine experience.
Gorski kotar region is the greenest part of Croatia, ideal for active holiday in the nature: rafting, kanu safari, flyfishing, nordwalking or ski running, biking tours, sightseeing - caves, lakes, National Park Risnjak,protected natural reservats, castles, churches, ethno houses... For those who want to visit the Adriatic see and beaches it is only 30 -60 minutes driving with the car . Fresh and clean air, clear rivers and rapids, cultural harritage , gastronomy, friendly people, will certainly provide you a beautiful memory of your holidays.
