Property info

The House Marija, was built in 1907 by our great grandfather Vincent who was once a captain of a ship. The old house was fully renovated in 2019 trying to save a touch of old but also to give you pleasure and benefits of modern life. It is situated in a calm part of town but also very close to center, cultural and historical sights, cafes, restaurants serving domestic and fresh food, supermarkets and shops. Free parking, mobile Wi-Fi, airconditions in living and sleeping areas, big terrace and a great safe place for your children or for you to rest or sunbathing are at your disposal. Final cleaning, electricity and water consumption are included in the price. Our house has completely equipped kitchen with dishes and everything you need to cook and serve meals (fridge, stew, coffee maker, toaster). Towels (not for the beach) and bed sheets are provided and are changed regularly once a week. The house is 300m from the see and 400-450m from the nearest beach (5-10min walk) where you can walk/bike by the sea. There is also a little tourist train that can lead you to any beaches of Punat.

Neighborhood info

There are 300 kilometres of cycling routes along the Adriatic coast and through olive groves, hills and valleys. Recreation and sport facilities are all in vicinity – biking roads of island of Krk are famous, there are beach volleyball playgrounds, tennis courts, beaches and diving centers. Lot of boats can take you to famous hidden beaches and to the Franciscan monastery at the small island Košljun where you can visit an exhibition of artworks made by our uncle Josip Franolic. Krk old town with his narrow streets enclosed within 2000 year old walls with sacred Romanesque cathedral and ancient Roman baths.
