This was our old family home on the island of Koločep or Kalamota, as the locals like to call it. For a long time the house was in a pretty messy state and it was in need of a thorough restoring and modernising. A few years ago my family started restoring it and today we have a modernised vacation with a lovely garden just on the seashore. This house is a dream for all those who want a holiday somewhere without all the noise a city brings.
The island of Koločep is a beautiful place filled with pine trees and surrounded by clean Adriatic waters. Next to Koločep are a few other islands which, together with Koločep form an island group called "The Elafiti" connected with a ferry line a few times a day. On the island there are two bays/villages and a few restaurants. You can go hiking on the island, explore hidden pathways or maybe enjoy relaxing walks, swim and enjoy the sun.
