🏡 We offer humble seaside accommodation in our Dalmatian home during the summer months in Saplunara, on the island of Mljet in Croatia. ☀️ Our simple apartments have everything to cover the basics that you might need to enjoy your summer vacation in one of the Adriatic’s most beautiful locations - with stunning views of the the Saplunars Bay! 🌊 A short walk to three sandy beaches, restaurants, souvenir shops and views of the sparkling blues of the Adriatic Sea - our location speaks for itself!
👋 We welcome you to our home to enjoy the peace and quiet of Mljet! Saplunara (meaning "sandy" in Latin) is the only side of the island with sandy beaches. There are a few beaches situated in the area: 🏝️ Nature Park Blace / Limune Beach and Protect Area: 3 km driving distance 🏝️ Small sandy / pebble beach and riva directly under property and easily accessible by foot via stairs from Villa Kralj entrance 🏝️ Big Saplunara: 50 m walking distance 🏝️ Small Saplunara: 500 m walking distance
The length of Mljet is 40 km, the width is 3 km. All villages are connected by one main road. 🏖️ Saplunara is 15km drive from Sobra Ferry Port. 🌲 The Mljet National Park entrance is approx. 35km drive from Saplunara. 🌊 Odyssey’s cave is approx. 20km drive from Saplunara. 🚗 To experience full beauty of Mlnet, it is highly recommended to arrive by car! Car rental available in Sobra ferry port. Please drive safely. ⛽ Petrol / refuelling on Mljet is only available at the petrol station in Sobra Ferry port (subject to opening hours). 🚌 Public transport is not regularly available on Mljet. The bus runs to Sobra twice per day (according to the passenger catamaran schedule). Private taxis are available. ☕️ There are a number of places to get food and drinks in Saplunara including several restaurants, a beach bar and fast food as well as a small Studenac shop.
