Morska Grota strives to provide affordable rooms and studio apartments, modest, comfortable, and clean, for a relaxing trip on the Croatian coast, located in Povile. All spaces come with 3-piece washroom, air-conditioning, and wireless Internet. Pebble and concrete beaches, restaurants, snack bar, market, and even a little harbour, are only a couple of steps away.
The owner, Daniel, with the help of his parents, opened this property in 2014, and manages the property throughout the year, focusing on several areas, from operating day-to-day operations over summer, with help, reservations, website and social media, and oversees renovation projects over winter, while continuing his career working and training as a medical doctor.
Povile is a small town, mostly residential, not overbuilt, generally quiet and not crowded, and usually there isn't an issue with finding a place to park your car or to put your towel on the beach. With a market in town, along with three restaurants, and a small harbour, Povile has all the basics covered, plus the main road is very accessible and bigger attractions (Rijeka, Krk, Plitvice Lakes, etc.) are not far away. Over summer, the restaurant in the harbour knows to host live music and other events on the weekends.
