The resort and small settlement of Dingač is located on the southern slope of the second largest peninsula in Croatia, the Pelješac Peninsula. The village of Dingač is an ideal place for a pleasant and peaceful holiday and relaxation in nature. The coastline here is mostly rocky, but small pebble beaches can be found near the settlement of Borak or in the resort of Trstenik. The main tourist center on the Pelješac Peninsula is the resort of Orebić on the southern coast, opposite the island of Korčula. It is known for its beautiful beaches. The most beautiful part of the Pelješac coastline is considered to be the stretch between the resorts of Orebić and Viganj. The sea near the resort of Viganj is regarded as one of the best areas for windsurfing. The sea with brackish water around the resort of Trpanj is a popular destination for sport fishermen. The villages of Kučište and Lovište are also known for their very nice beaches. Dingač is an exceptional wine-growing region, centered around the village of Potomje, and is famous worldwide. The slopes in the area are planted with an indigenous grape variety, Plavac Mali Crni, which is used to produce the branded wine Dingač. It is an unusually strong and sweet wine, and Dingač is considered one of the ten best varietal wines in the world.
