My name is Marijan, but you can call me Maki. I am now a retired journalist that truly loves to enjoy life, travel, meet people and explore. I have my own garden close to our home where I grow organic vegetables and fruits that I use later when I cook and prepare delicious dishes for my friends and guest. I also have a small olive trees garden where I grow organic olives and make cold-pressed virgin olive oil. Also, in my free time I like to travel and learn about different cultures. That is a big reason why my wife Stela and me started this business in 1990s. My wife Stela loves to do interior design and surprise our friends and guest every year by making small and unique changes in our home. She also loves to cook and enjoys gardening, which makes our garden very beautiful and relaxing place for our friends. That is her spot to enjoy morning coffee with our guests and share fun and interesting stories. Also, we have a special member in our family, Senka the Cat, which is always around ready to cuddle and purr around our guests. Our sons Dario and Drazen usually spend the summer with us here, and are always ready to help if you have any question about local events and spots!

Stela Apartmani is a family owned business that I started in 1990 with my wife Stela.
