Our cozy holiday cabin is located in the heart of Gorski Kotar, tucked between a river and mountains rising behind. It's a modest but comfy mountain type cabin ideal for a couple or a family with kids. It has one bedroom with double size bed in the loft level and the pull-out sofa bed in the living room below. There is a small balcony, perfect for slow mornings and terrace with fire pit and barbecue, made for long evenings under the stars. Surrounded by a large orchard and deep silence at night. Just the sound of water and nature. This cabin is more than just a holiday rental. It is our own weekend home, a place we personally care for, visit regularly, and enjoy with family and friends, and hope our guests will enjoy it as well.
Our small cabins was born from a simple idea we heard in a theatre play : "You are happiest when all you have is a creek and something warm to share". Two friends, two cabins and a quiet forest in Gorski Kotar, Croatia. We wanted to create a place where less is enough - where mornings are slow, food is simple and nature sets the rhythm. Twin Forest is not about escaping life. It's about returning to what really matters.
The location is perfect for an active holiday. Nearby you can enjoy : rafting on Kupa river, quad tours in Fužine, outdoor activities, and hiking trails in Risnjak National Park. The nearby town of Delnice offers additional amenities, supermarkets, restaurant, organized walks in woods, mountain bike trails and so much more. In winter, popular sledding areas are close by, while during summer the sea and the first beaches are only about a 50-minute drive away — making this an ideal combination of adventure, nature, and relaxation.
