Beautiful apartment located in a 16th-century building in the heart of the Old Town, close to the beach, restaurants, cafés, and shops. The apartment consists of a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The living room features a comfortable sofa, TV, prepaid mobile internet card, and a workspace desk. The bedroom includes a double bed, bedside tables, and a wardrobe. Next to the bedroom there is a bathroom with a shower, washing machine, and toilet. The apartment is located on the first floor and can only be accessed by stairs. We love animals, so pets are welcome. The entire apartment is available to our guests. On the ground floor there is also a terrace equipped with a coffee table, bench seating, and an armchair. The terrace is a perfect place to relax in the evening after a day at the beach. Guests also have access to a free parking space located approximately 200 meters from the apartment.

My name is Beata and I will be your host in my apartment, located on the island of Cres. I am a Polish woman who fell in love with this beautiful Mediterranean island, the town, and the entire archipelago. It was love at first sight — both for the island and for this home. The town of Cres enchanted me with its rich history dating back to Antiquity, the Middle Ages, and the Renaissance, and the apartment where I have the great pleasure of hosting you is part of that history. The house in which the apartment is located once belonged to a fisherman, which is why you can still see a small sawfish emblem above it. On Cres, there are many such historic houses that once belonged to craftsmen, like the one where you will be staying, as well as homes of wealthy patrician families, such as the neighboring beautiful Renaissance-Gothic Arsan Palace. An interesting fact is that in historic buildings, living quarters were located on virtually every floor, which is why staircases extended upward through the entire structure. As a result, medieval buildings tended to be tall. Their height was also a practical solution for saving space in densely populated old towns surrounded by defensive walls. On the island of Cres, you can walk through ancient olive groves where the famous Cres sheep have grazed for centuries. Thanks to this abundance of herbs, the local cuisine offers wonderful dishes made with fresh fish such as sea bream and sea bass, as well as seafood and, of course, the famous Cres lamb — all seasoned with local aromatic herbs. Throughout the year, the islands host a variety of festivals, exhibitions, and concerts, including Creski Kaić, Primorska Regata, Klapske Večeri, Creska Butega, Isle of Wonder, and the Fishermen’s Festival in Martinšćica.
