TowerHouseSusso is a Unique 15Th Century TowerHouse experience, Located 2nd row from the Waterfront, Hart of "Old Town" Trogir. Due to it's location, all bars, cafés and restaurants are at your feet! Walking distance to many beaches nearby. A taxi boat can be taken from Waterfront to more beaches on nearby neighbouring Islands if you wish to explore... Trips and sightseeing excursions in and around the area depart from Waterfront and can be purchased on site.
TowerHouseSusso offers a truly "Old Town" feeling accommodation combined with modern facilities come to be expected by the modern traveller... All rooms have a modern on suite bathroom with thermostatic showers, A/C and mini fridge, coffee/tea station and Large TV and Wifi... Rooms have large super comfortable beds, desks and wardrobes (hand made for each room)!
Truly a unique and wonderful experience in the Hart of the "Old Town "
We are Nico and Tea, the owners of this old TowerHouse.... Tea fell in love with this old ruin some years ago and set out to find the former owners... With some time passing and hard work she managed to fine the owners and the ruin was bought.... it sat for some years before renovations could start as it is a listed building and with that came a lot of complications.... The house is finally at a point where it can be enjoyed and we love the house and its location...
"Old Town" Trogir is a Medieval Town (Unesco Protected). Best described as a Town you would find someone like Robin Hood walking through in his day... a true Game Of Thrones style village... The houses are all maid of stone and not a strait one to be found... Streets are small and narrow with lots of history all round... It is a pedestrian city, so no cars in the "Old Town" allowed. Parking is available but can cost as much as your accommodation... the closer you park to the centre the higher the costs. Due to this fact, TowerHouseSusso offers free "Long Stay Parking" to all guests, but parking is off site and approximately 2km from the centre. Croatia is well known for its beautiful coastline and hundreds of islands... Trogir has it all here and more... Many beautiful beaches within walking distance or by taxi boat... same goes for day trips by boat to near by islands.... and if you are tired of spending time on the beach, you have trips to near by "Krka Waterfalls" and National Park, other old cities like "Split" nearby and even shopping in one of the 3 big shopping malls nearby if that's your thing... Truly something for everyone...
