Our holiday accommodation, "Villa Leca," is located on a village road in the quiet, mountainous hinterland of Novi Vinodolski and Crikvenica, between the Adriatic coast and a cliff face, just outside the historic town of Bribir. The landscape in this coastal region, the Crikvenica Riviera, is incredibly diverse, and the views of the Kvarner Bay and its islands from countless vantage points are breathtaking. The nearest coastal towns and thus the beach are about 8 km away, a short drive of just a few minutes. The salty scent of the Adriatic Sea, only 3 km away as the crow flies, can be detected even here. Bribir itself offers several cafes, two small supermarkets, a bakery, a pharmacy, a post office, an ATM, and a playground, and is predominantly characterized by its local traditions. Numerous destinations for excursions are available around Bribir, accessible on foot, by bicycle, or by car/motorcycle. Our guests not only visit the diverse beaches (from 7km away: pebble and rocky beaches with bathing platforms, man-made sandy beaches, dog beaches, nudist beaches) but also go fishing (Tribalj Jezera), hiking, exploring caves (Spilja Vrelo, Fuzine), or cycling in the hinterland, visit the Velebit Mountains or the national parks (Risnjak, Plitvice Lakes), the island of Krk, or the contrasting but interesting neighboring cities of Rijeka and Opatija. There are also small but fascinating sights in the immediate vicinity, such as Stari Grad Ledenice, which offers a breathtaking view over the Crikvenica Riviera, especially in the evening at sunset, or the town of Senj with its fortress and castle museum. Crikvenica itself has a small aquarium. Various boat tours can be booked at the marinas, and countless types of water sports can be enjoyed along the coast.
