The cabin is situated on a 2200 m² sloped plot in Zalaegerszeg’s suburban area called Egerszeghegy. Trees planted to surround the house, will in time give the effect of a being in a tree-house. You might be visited by roes, foxes and wild rabbits, or even squirrels as their habitats don’t lie far from us. The house has two floors. The lower level is mostly underground, due to the slope. The 56 m² upper floor, which occupies one single space together with the bathroom, has glass windows from floor to the. You can even enjoy the beautiful sunsets from your bed.
If you desire a little more than „dolce far niente” (an italian expression for sweet idleness) this information will serve you well. Firstly, we hope that our guest house will enchant you so much that you forget about the outside world. But if that’s not be the case, the region has a lot to offer real outdoor people. There are unique places to visit within easy reach by car. We have been mountain-biking for several years now. We have downloaded many routes to share with you which we have already explored. Most of these routes can be done on foot as well and they are just outside the town. There are extensive forests in the Alsóerdő area which have enjoyed protection for decades. If you are a nature lover this is the place to be. In springtime or autumn the Azalea Valley (Azáleás-völgy) boasts beautiful colors. You can walk up to the TV-tower, where an elevator transports you to its 200 ft high Cafe, from here you can see everything around from a bird’s eye view. On the other side of town you can find another popular hiking route called „Horhosok” (you can reach this by bike too) or there is an Arboretum in Csácsbozsok worthy of a visit.
