Krishna Valley is a unique, self-sustaining spiritual community. Our main goal is to practice Krishna-conscious spiritual life in a self-sufficient, nature-connected, and peaceful environment. Founded in 1983, our farm community has been continuously developing ever since. Our guesthouses welcome spiritual seekers who wish to stay for more than just a day, offering them multi-day retreats and opportunities for positive rejuvenation. Krishna Valley currently has two guesthouses: Gurudeva Bhavan, located in the heart of Krishna Valley, and Kamala guesthouse, situated near the entrance to Krishna Valley in the village of Somogyvámos.

Krishna Valley is part of Somogyvámos, a small village located just 30 km from Kaposvár and Fonyód. Krishna Valley is Europe’s largest eco-village and Vaishnava community. This Indian Cultural Center and Eco Farm was established to help people discover the values of an ancient spiritual culture and a lifestyle close to nature based on these values. To support this mission, we kindly ask our guests to refrain from consuming meat, fish, eggs, or alcohol during their stay. The farm is situated in a picturesque valley, home to over 250,000 trees and a rich variety of flora. Our nearly 300-hectare farm features numerous beautiful lakes and houses with stunning views. Visitors interested in our lifestyle and philosophy can experience the daily life of our community. Our well-maintained paths provide opportunities for peaceful, long walks. At the center of Krishna Valley is a colorful temple, inspired by the artwork found in South Indian temples. Its marble altar showcases Krishna and His Eternal Partner in their radiant beauty as the Divine Couple. Visitors come here to seek blessings, good fortune, prosperity, and peace through their prayers. Our most beautiful guesthouse, Gurudeva Bhavan, is located in the heart of Krishna Valley, just 70 meters from our Indian temple. On our self-sustaining farm, solar panels provide electricity to residential buildings for the comfort of our guests. The Kamala Kutir Guesthouse is situated outside the farm, in Somogyvámos, but very close to Krishna Valley’s entrance. From there, the temple is an easy 24-minute walk through the stunning natural surroundings of Krishna Valley. Both of our guesthouses include breakfast and Krishna Valley entry tickets as complimentary gifts for our guests.
