The Artist Apartment is a completely separate accommodation in the heart of Keszthely with its own entrance and staircase. In addition to cooking facilities in our equipped kitchen guests have access to a refrigerator, microwave, moka and kettle. We placed a smart TV, DVD player with lots of movies, free Wifi and lots of books to make your vacation even more comfortable. The walls are decorated with unique oil paintings, providing a magical experience for our guests. Heating in winter and air conditioning in summer regulates the temperature. In addition to all this we guarantee a pleasant night's rest with clean linen in the three bedrooms and the spacious living room. The charcoal grill equipped in the inner courtyard of the building serves as a great program for families, couples and friends equally. We also provide covered bicycle storage here. Smoking is allowed in the courtyard. The apartment is located only a few steps away from the Sétálóutca and a 5-minute walk from the Festetics Castle and its museums. Other attractions are even closer, such as the Doll Museum, Horrorarium, or Snail Parliament. There are many shopping and dining options in the area as well while the Balaton coast is only 800m away and the Hévíz thermal spring lake with wellness services is within easy reach (6 km). Other springs can also be visited all year round in Kehidakustány and Zalakaros. You can pay by cash, card or SZÉP card according to your preferences. Our apartment was completely renovated with the help of theHungarian Government on March 31, 2021 and we’ve been constantly working on enhancing it further ever since to make your stay just perfect.

As an artist couple, we strive to present the magical world that we capture in our paintings during our travels, thus enriching your special experience in Keszthely. Our main goal is to ensure your comfort, while being at your service for any questions you may have, so that your time at our apartment is as pleasant as possible.

There are many attractions and program opportunities right next to the Artist Apartment. The garden of the Festetics Castle, about a five-minute walk from our gate, can be visited for free all year round, while for an entrance fee you can also see the Castle itself from the inside with its original furnishings and several associated museums, such as the Carriage and Railway Exhibition or the Palm House and Bird Park. The Hunter Museum is located right next to it, while many smaller attractions can be found even closer, such as the Snail Parliament, Horrorarium and the Doll Museum. In addition, with the proximity of the Sétálóutca (Walking Street), a multitude of shops, cafes, ice cream parlors and restaurants are easily accessible, while the Balaton coast is not far away for those interested in the beach. If you would like to relax outside the city of Keszthely, we would like to recommend the Hévíz thermal water lake bath (although currently under renovation) with its wellness services, the renovated castle of Szigliget, cycling and other sports programs. We also recommend checking out the current programs, as here, in the heart of Lake Balaton, regular concerts, festivals, theater performances, organized cruises, exhibitions and film screenings are all held.
