Mackó Kuckó Verőce - a piece of peace in the Danube bend Visit our cosy space near the forest, yet close to the train station, with free parking and shared spaces of the kitchen and bathroom. Ideal for short stays or a budget holiday for hikers, bikers, singles, couples or families. We hope that everyone finds a bit of peace in our space, made with love for your comfort 🌞
We are Kitti and Jani, a family living the floor below the apartment with our two children and dog. A longtime dream came true when we moved out of the city to our house, and we treasure every moment here ever since. The birds singing, the wind flowing, the cherry and currant from the garden, the beaver castle on the spring at the end of the street... these are all things why we love it here and we are happy to share it with you as your hosts in the Mackó Kuckó.
Verőce is a beautiful town in the Danube bend. You can enjoy a bath in the Danube, have a good coffee, listen to a concert in the Zsengélő café. Easily accessible by train or car, we are only 40 minutes away from Budapest. You can also bike your way here, because the area offers amazing biking routes and spots.
