If you have any questions, we are always happy to help. 🙌 Our house is located on the edge of the old red stone quarry, offering a peaceful retreat close to Lake Balaton – the lakeshore is only 200 metres away. The area is quiet, with only one neighbouring property, ensuring a truly relaxing stay. The apartment is located on the ground floor of our family home and has a separate entrance, living room, bedroom and private terrace. 🏚️ In the garden you will find outdoor cooking facilities (grill and traditional Hungarian cauldron), and inside there is tea and coffee making equipment. Free private parking is available in the enclosed yard. 🚗 We are a dog-friendly accommodation and warmly welcome small dogs. 🐾 A nearby quiet lakeside area also makes it possible for dogs to swim in Lake Balaton. A 6-person hot tub is available in the garden upon request for an additional fee – perfect for relaxing even on cooler days. The area is ideal for SUP, swimming and hiking. A grocery store, Telekosár shop, and excellent restaurants and cafés in Révfülöp are all nearby. For exploring the surroundings, we provide 3 adult bicycles and 1 children’s bike upon request. 🚲 In winter, the apartment is heated with gas heating, while in summer the thick stone walls keep it naturally cool. This place is for those who are looking for true peace, nature, and relaxation – in one of the quieter, hidden parts of Lake Balaton. We look forward to welcoming you! 🥰

🌿 Our Story A dream came true for my husband and me when a dear friend showed us this house – we fell in love with it immediately. The proximity of Lake Balaton, the refreshing hillside location, and the unique echo that has remained almost miraculously preserved in the old stone quarry all contributed to making this place truly special for us. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the house, with a separate entrance and a private living space, ensuring complete peace and comfort for our guests. ☺️ For many years, only our friends and acquaintances stayed here, and we always experienced that they returned home feeling refreshed and recharged. This inspired us to open this special place to others as well. It brings us great joy to be able to offer our guests a chance to relax, recharge, and create beautiful memories. 😇 🏡 Important information regarding accommodation capacity If you book the apartment for 4 people, please note that the accommodation is approximately 40 m² and consists of a living room and a bedroom. Sleeping arrangements are provided on a pull-out sofa bed in the living room and on a double bed in the bedroom. 🐾 Dog-friendly accommodation We love dogs and have one ourselves, so we are happy to welcome small dogs up to 12 kg. An additional daily fee applies for dogs to cover extra cleaning and sanitisation. 🙌 Important information Occasionally, we also stay on the upper floor of the house, which we kindly ask you to take into consideration before booking. 🌿 Discover Pálköve and the Balaton Uplands Pálköve is located on the northern shore of Lake Balaton, next to Révfülöp, in the beautiful Pálköve Bay. It is a small, quiet settlement where peace is part of everyday life. In winter it is almost completely silent, and even in summer there is no through traffic, making it an ideal place for those seeking the calmer side of Lake Balaton. The area is surrounded by one of the largest continuous oak forests of the Balaton Uplands, and the shoreline features one of the lake’s few remaining reed beds. Thanks to the nearby Káli Basin, the region’s famous volcanic hills, hiking trails, and natural landmarks are easily accessible. Our apartment is located on the edge of the historic Pálköve red sandstone quarry. The Permian red sandstone once extracted here was transported by boat across Lake Balaton and still defines the architectural character of the region today. This unique natural and industrial heritage gives Pálköve its special atmosphere. Pálköve is also unique as it is the only settlement in the Káli Basin area that lies directly on the shore of Lake Balaton, allowing you to enjoy both the lakeside and the Balaton Uplands at the same time. 🍴 Our favourite nearby places: Bistro 71, Móló Confectionery, Liliomkert Farmers’ Market and Az Igazi Pékség, Mandilla Restaurant, Lelkem Inn, Velős Kenyeres, Kő Fagyi?, Il Monte Pizzeria, and La Téne. 🌄 Places to visit: Béke Stupa, Hegyestű Geological Site, Basalt Organ Pipes (Szent György Hill), the old basalt quarry in Zalahaláp, Révfülöp Lookout Tower, Kővágóörs ruins, and the Stone Sea of Szentbékkálla.
