I was a manager of a dive center until February 2014. I wanted to try something else, that is why I decided to start the "Bukit Asri Lodge". It is located in a unique, not yet discovered part of Bali.

Property info

Bukit Asri Lodge in East Bali is established in a unique, in colonial style built house with several bungalows. It is situated in a resort-like garden with a swimming-pool. Nearby are the beaches of Amed and BugBug and the Tirtagangga water palace.

Neighborhood info

The Bukit Asri Lodge is situated in the middle of nature, approximately 10 min from the city of Amlapura. The Virgin beach is just 20 min away by motor bike or car. It is the perfect place for the guests who want to relax for a few days. We have got a map with walking, motorbike & bicycle tours. It is possible to walk to the water palace of Ujung from the Bukit Asri Lodge. It is one of the 2 water palaces of the royal family of Karangasem.The path is doable, not to complicated. It will take you approximately 1,5 hours. The other water palace is in Tirtagangga, it was build in 1948 by the king of Karangasem. It is just 20 min away from the Bukit Asri Lodge. Both water palaces are a fun place to visit with the whole family.
